SimCity (2013) Beta 2 - Part 1 - Starting A City

So I was hoping to get into the beta all day and the start time passed and I had not yet gained access, even though I pre-ordered the game! But thankfully http://twitter.com/td90uk gave me his code. Show him some love. Hes awesome. This is basically me spending the 1 hour you get in the beta building my city and watching the profits fly!

I used my Elgato to capture this, but the video was zoomed in due to the game being in a Window. Next time I will be sure to play the games in full screen mode and will use the higher render settings. Another reason the quality wasn't amazing is because of the render settings I used. If I rendered on higher settings the file would be 2.2GB rather than the 500mb of this one. Next time I record (part 3 was the last time I recorded while stating this) I will be sure to play fullscreen and use max settings, unless I need the video up quickly!

Another thing to watch for besides water tower placement is wind direction,It will carry pollution from your industrial areas-so make sure your wind isn't carrying your pollution into your residential areas or your people will suffer. look for wind arrows when using the industrial zoning tool

Isnt there an upgrade road option now so you dont have to remove the roads at all. Sorry if you say this later in I just started watching :) enjoying it!

It took me a while. If you close it while its going then the install on Origin will corrupt. Then uninstall that and start over. It seems to go a lot quicker the 2nd time.

Dirtywater is a good name dont put you're watertower at industriaal your water gets dirty and then your sims get sick!!!!!!!!!!
